Banja Luka is a wonderful Darwin tulip. Tulips that are renowned for producing large single blooms on tall sturdy stems. Flowering between 40 to 50cm from April and continuing too until may season dependent. Banja Luka produces unique blooms of yellow with red edge to each petal. Golden stamens in the centre make it perfect for attracting pollinating insects.

Darwin tulips are your the classics of the tulip world. They provide the stereotypical shape of bloom you associate with tulips. Tending to flower in mid spring. We recommend planting densely for the best affect.

Plant spring flowering bulbs from August to December. When planting place bulbs with points facing upward and the largest part facing downward to the best of your ability.  Plant Bulbs 10cm deep and 10cm to 20cm apart from the next bulb. This allows future bulbs room to mature.
