Description
Heuchera Lime Marmalade is a bushy, well rounded hardy perennial with stunning ruffled vibrant lime green foliage. A variety perfect for adding colour through the year. Near maintenance free. Simply remove brown leaves in winter and plant will continue to look good year round. A perfect addition for adding constant colour to a boarder or pot without relying upon a flower. Heuchera are also known as “Coral Bells” they are exceptionally hardy evergreen plant once established.
PLEASE NOTE: Planting late in the year may require some protection for the plant in its first year whilst unestablished from frosts and adverse winter weather.
Heuchera Lime Marmalade:
- Color: Vibrant lime green
- Habit: Compact well rounded bushy habit.
- Disease resilience: Excellent
- Excellent resistance to frost once established.
- Planting Location: Front to middle of containers or large pots or containers.
- Current Plant Height: 15x15cm supplied in a 1 litre grower pot
- Mature Height: 40x40cm reaching maturity within 2 years of planting into final position.
These plants will survive normal winters without the need for protection from frosts. In Exceptionally cold winters protection for first year plants and those in large pots may be required to allow them to survive. Protection can include horticultural fleece or something as simple as a large pot over the top of the plant overnight. Will flower in summer.
